The new car, to be called the XF Supercharged, will use a detuned version of the XFR's engine that will put out 470bhp. 0-100km/h will be achieved in 4.9 seconds, 0.6 faster than the normal version but 0.2 seconds slower than the XFR.
The XF Supercharged will also get Jaguar's Adaptive Dynamics suspension control system and Active Differential Control that electronically controls the rear differential, while the ventilated disc brakes will be updated.
Cosmetic changes to differentiate the new model from the other cars in the range include unique badges, silver-gray painted brake callipers, chromed exhaust tailpipes and 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the car gets contrasting stitching on the instrument panel, unique wood trim, a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system, HD radio, and heated steering wheel.
