Jaguar XJ gets new Sport and Speed packages

The Sport Pack for the XJ features a number of exterior and interior design additions and is available on all XJ models while the Speed Pack is exclusive to supercharged models equipped with the Sport Pack. The new performance packages will be unveiled at the upcoming Dubai International Motor Show.The Sport Pack adds an aerodynamic kit that comprises of a front splitter beneath the bumper and a discrete boot lid lip. Other exterior features include gloss black mesh finish for the upper and lower front grilles, newly designed split twin tailpipes and red painted brake callipers emblazoned with the Jaguar name that are mounted behind new 20-inch 'Venom' alloy wheels.
Inside, the package adds a pair of sport seats up front, while the interior is trimmed in soft grain leather available in two colours, Jet over Jet or Jet over Ivory. There is also machined stainless steel pedals engraved with the Jaguar name, Piano Black trim and carbon-fibre highlights.
The optional Speed Pack, meanwhile, raises the electronically limited maximum speed from 250km/h to 280km/h, and is available only on supercharged AJ-V8 models.
