CALLUM has recently completed a second customer commission of the Jaguar C-X75, imbuing it with performance, comfort and convenience, and fulfilling the customer's request for a C-X75 that realises the potential of the original concept.
CALLUM, a British design and engineering house that fulfils bespoke commissions, was co-founded by Ian Callum, who was part of the team that created the C-X75 in 2010. The new car now features a re-engineered drivetrain, active aero and a luxurious interior.
Its supercharged V8 engine is now paired with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, and the bespoke model now has the ability to switch between road and sporting mode.
To complement the increased performance, CALLUM's engineers developed an advanced active aero package which provides additional downforce at speeds above 60km/h for increased stability. The car's original front 20-inch and rear 21-inch wheels are cloaked in Michelin's Pilot Sport 4S tyres, ideal for both road and track use.
Over 1,000 hours of craftsmanship went into the C-X75's bodywork, including precise panel alignment and a deep paint Willow Green finish, and featuring distinctive touches such as its bespoke filler cap and its polished metal grille.
In its interior, its functional cockpit is replaced with a driver-centric environment, with the surfaces sporting leather textures. The seats, specifically picked by the customer, are upholstered in supple Bridge of Weir leather, while the steering wheel is custom-machined from solid billet to the customer's exact specifications.
