Jaguar XKR-S to celebrate 50 years of the E-Type at Geneva

The XKR-S features Jaguar's 5.0-litre supercharged V8 that has been modified to produce 550bhp and 680Nm of torque, an increase of 40bhp and 70Nm over the standard XKR. This enables the XKR-S to rocket from 0-100km/h in 4.2 seconds, and 0-160km/h in 8.6 seconds.

Aside from the engine, Jaguar has also tuned the XKR-S' suspension, with the car's Adaptive Dynamics system having been reprogrammed for better precision and control in handling. New lightweight alloy wheels fitted with performance tyres complement the handling upgrades.

The XKR-S also features a number of cosmetic improvements to help with aerodynamics. These include a more aggressive looking front bumper, re-profiled side skirts, additional air vents on the hood and bumpers, a large rear wing and a redesigned rear bumper housing a diffuser and quad tail pipes.
