Japan gets exclusive V12 equipped 7 Series

BMW Japan has announced a limited edition 7 Series powered by a bi-turbo V12. Aptly named the V12 Bi-Turbo edition, it's the closest you can get to a M7 as it combines the performance of the M badged performance cars without compromising the luxury of the 7 Series flagship. The car is powered by a monstrous forced induced 6.0-litre V12 with double VANOS technology that delivers 554bhp.

Besides the big engine, the car features an M aerodynamic package with the boot lid featuring the M and a V12 logo while wearing 21-inch V-spoke styled alloys.

The cabin is finished in Nappa leather which are manufactured using piano lacquer technology while the iDrive controller, air conditioning vents and other levers finished in ceramic. It is also equipped with a special 1,200 watts Bang and Olufsen sound system which delivers 16 channel sound using 16 speakers.

The Japan exclusive limited edition 7 Series costs 22,600,000 Yen (S$280,295) with deliveries starting in October.
