Cycle & Carriage Kia is gearing up to set the record for Singapore's Longest Test Drive Relay featuring its latest hybrid model, the all new Niro Hybrid on 29 October 2022. Participants will begin their journey from the Cycle & Carriage Kia Showroom at 2:00pm and make their way to Jewel Changi Airport, before circling back to the Kia Showroom.
The latest version of the Niro Hybrid, which was officially launched on 23 September 2022, will be the focus of the company's efforts to set a record for Singapore's Longest Test Drive Relay in the Singapore Book of Records.
Covering a total distance of 900km, the equivalent of travelling between Changi Airport and Tuas 17 times, 18 participants will drive this distance in the new Niro Hybrid over a period of 22 hours.
Passing through several of Singapore's scenic areas, each leg of the journey will cover 55km, with the entire relay to be completed on a single tank of fuel.
The participants will also get first hand experience of the Kia Connect Lite app in this relay, a smart connectivity feature which allows customers to remotely control the car through their smartphones.
The flag-off of this relay will be by Ms. Dawn Pan, and the final driver of the relay is expected to reach the Kia showroom around 12:15pm on 30 October 2022.
