Kia releases video showcasing the Tasman pickup

Kia has released the first episode of what is a new documentary series titled One More Round, which offers an in-depth look at the development process behind its new Tasman pickup truck.

The series will showcase the extensive testing and detailed honing that has been put into the brand’s first-ever pickup model in locations including the hostile terrain of the Australian wilderness, all to ensure optimum durability and performance.

The first episode of the series (which you can catch embedded below) puts a focus on off-road testing, and subsequent episodes will feature the pickup taking on challenges including deep-water wading and all-terrain durability and towing trials, as well as being tested for its on-track performance, ride and handling. Interviews with the research and development team will also be offered in subsequent episodes, all set to be released from July through October 2024.

The Kia Tasman is set to make its world premiere in the second half of 2024, which will be followed by a global release in the first half of 2025. The Tasman will initially be introduced Korea before reaching Australia and the Africa as well as the Middle East.
