Kia reveals the Cerato Forte hatchback

The Cerato Forte hatchback made its world debut at the New York Motor Show, and joins the four-door saloon and two-door coupe Koup model in the Forte's range. The Forte hatchback is expected to go on sale later this year.

Kia has not released many details about the Cerato Forte hatchback, but promises that there will be minor changes to the interior, including a revised centre console, new paddle shifters for the automatic transmission and the addition of a push-button start.

As for the powerplants for the Cerato Forte hatchback, American consumers will get a choice of either 2.0 or 2.4-litre engines, while most other markets around the world will have the option of 1.6 or 2.0-litre units.
