As it continues to bring more fully-electric models into its lineup, Hyundai's local authorised dealer, Komoco Motors, is also making the effort to assure its customers that they will be well-serviced throughout the entire cycle of EV ownership.
On 21 August 2023, the company announced that it was introducing a roving EV Service pop-up kiosk, named #ServeMeHyundai, designed to replicate the customer's experience at its Komoco EV Service Centre. #ServeMeHyundai made its debut at the Hyundai Roadshow, which is currently up and running at VivoCity's Level 1 atrium.
Among the key qualities of the kiosk are the company's dedicated EV Specialists. Assigned specially to each individual customer, these specialists function as the customers’ personal service advisors, answering both their service queries while also functioning as the main lead in the servicing of their EVs. Komoco says this reflects the customer-advisor interaction back the EV Service Centre.
Additionally, the #ServeMeHyundai kiosk features three separate stations that illuminate the various aspects of the customer journey at the EV Service Centre. We Connect illustrates the very first touchpoint, during which customers hand over their EVs for servicing. At this point, the EV specialists will step in to understand their concerns and driving habits before moving on to work on the vehicles.
Thereafter, We Care conveys the actual servicing process by displaying the tools that are used - which can also be touched and felt by visitors. Finally, We Serve replicates the final stage in which EV diagnoses are presented to customers, so that they better understand what work has been done (or will be done) on their vehicle.
Interestingly, Komoco says that the pop-up kiosk is not a one-off concept, but one that will instead travel around the island so that more customers can better understand the experience at the Komoco EV Service Centre. After its stint at VivoCity, the #ServeMeHyundai kiosk will move on Hyundai Service Centre Thomson temporarily (housed within the Shell Thomson station, at 551 Upper Thomson Rd). It is currently unclear where it is headed thereafter.
For now, however, customers can look forward a prize-winning segment at VivoCity - answering a few simple, related questions nets you a token to play at a sure-win claw machine, with prizes including an Ioniq 5 brick-set and Hyundai tumblers. This segment will also be found in Thomson, when the kiosk moves over.
The #ServeMeHyundai kiosk can now be visited at the Hyundai Roadshow in VivoCity, where it will remain until 27 August 2023.
