Launch of Lexus NX Turbo completes NX model lineup

Borneo Motors (Singapore) Pte Ltd officially launched the new Lexus NX Turbo in Singapore. This completes the NX model range following the successful introduction of the NX Hybrid in October 2014.

With its daring diamond-shaped body, flared wheel arches and large wheels that emphasises a firm powerful road presence and dynamic stance, the NX design is both aggressive and futuristic. The NX is also engineered to deliver sports car-like agility in an SUV, delivering a balanced and confident driving dynamics.

At the same time, the car boasts an array of World's First innovations, offering drivers a suite of thoughtful and intuitive features that are designed to integrate seamlessly into a multi-faceted active lifestyle.

The NX Turbo features Lexus' first ever turbocharged engine, conceptualised and perfected over a period of 10 years. The NX Turbo delivers 234bhp and is powered by a 2.0-litre direct injection turbocharged engine that is proficiently matched to a new six-speed automatic transmission specially tuned for the NX.

An electronically controlled all-wheel drive system continually varies distribution of drive power to the rear wheels, switching from Front-Wheel Drive to All-Wheel Drive to realise handling stability to suit varied driving conditions and for optimised fuel efficiency.
The pre-loaded differential pre-loads torque under light loads or rotational speed, contributing to highly precise steering for optimum control and straight line stability.

Offering an even more aggressive design and more dynamic handling, the NX Turbo F Sport features exclusive upgrades including a highly responsive sport-tuned suspension, bolstered sport seating and race-inspired G-force display and turbo boost gauge.
