LEGO launches new Technic Peugeot 9X8 set

Peugeot and LEGO have unveiled the stunning LEGO Technic Peugeot 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar set, a 1:10 scale model of the real-life Peugeot 9X8 racer that was first revealed in July of 2021.
The 1,775-piece model replicates that car's sleek silhouette and flashes of lime green on the exterior, while modelling the actual car's V6 engine and seven-speed transmission that drives the rear wheels, complete with an 'electric motor' to drive the front wheels. This motor, unfortunately, is not powered by batteries on the LEGO model.
The LEGO Technic Peugeot 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid set does, however, get the real-life car's unique doors, as well as Technic cables to represent the actual vehicle's low-emission hybrid powertrain, and a working suspension. Glow-in-the-dark light elements also feature on the model, perfect for those that want to capture the thrill of racing at night in the 24 Hour of Le Mans.
