Lotus unveils new Eletre Carbon

We’re not quite sure if this is what Colin Chapman had in mind when he uttered that famous motto, but Lotus has gone and added quite a fair bit of 'lightness' into its all-electric Eletre SUV with this new Eletre Carbon, now available in North America.
Now the highest-performing and dynamic variant of the Eletre, the special edition model is also said to showcase the brands craftsmanship when it comes to carbon fibre.
Offered as part of the Lotus Chapman Bespoke service, the Eletre Carbon boasts an extended use of the material in both its interior and exterior, the latter also available in an exclusive new satin Stardust black colour.
The cabin of the Eletre Carbon, meanwhile, can be had in three new leather colourways: Black, light grey and dark brown. All these will come courtesy of leading luxury low carbon leather supplier Bridge of Weir and feature a new quilting design, said to complement the car's aerodynamic profile. And of course, the option to have yours with 10-piston 420mm carbon ceramic brakes is available.
A total power output of 905bhp will see the Eletre Carbon accelerating to 100km/h in just 2.95 seconds, and to racing on to a top speed of 265km/h.
Lotus states that the Eletre Carbon has been designed specifically for the U.S.A and Canadian market, and expects to make first deliveries of the limited edition car by early 2025.
