Maserati presented its Alfieri Concept, a brand new 2+2 sports coupe slated to go into production in 2016, for the first time in the U.S.A. The coupe concept made its way from Europe to make its U.S. debut at the Monterey Car Week, after it was first unveiled in the flesh at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The Alfieri is likely to succeed the GranTurismo, which has been the trident marque's only two-door car for seven years now.
In base trim, the 2+2 Alfieri will pack no less than 410bhp, with a 520bhp V6 all-wheel drive variant starring at the top of the lineup. A convertible variant is also planned for 2017.
