Mercedes-AMG reveals new special edition SL

Mercedes-AMG has launched a new Manufaktur special edition of the SL63.

Limited to just 100 examples, this Mercedes-AMG SL 63 Manufaktur Golden Coast comes with a kalahari gold magno exterior finish, while the same shade has also been applied to the car's interior trim pieces.

The special edition car gets gold topstitching on its seats and steering wheel, as well as a special Manufaktur badge on its centre console

Finishing the car are 21-inch AMG forged wheels, which also get their rim edges and hub caps finished in kalahari gold magno. These rims sit ahead of black brake callipers that sport white AMG logos.

All examples of the Mercedes-AMG SL63 Manufaktur Golden Coast come with the AMG Night Package Exterior, AMG Night Package Exterior II and AMG Aerodynamic Package, so they get their front splitter, A-Wing trim, exterior mirror casing, sill cladding and rear skirt inlays finished in gloss black. The car's tailpipe fairings, grille panel fins, model badging and Mercedes star at the rear, meanwhile, are all finished in black chrome. The special edition car also gets additional aerodynamic flics on its air outlets in the rear skirt and a diffuser panel.

In its cabin, the standard-fit AMG Performance seats are upholstered in black Nappa leather and get diamond quilting and golden topstitching, while the AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather is also finished with golden stitching. The car also gets deep-pile foot mats with the AMG logo, black leather edging and golden topstitching. The car is finished with an exclusive 'Manufaktur Golden Coast' edition badge on its centre console.
