Mercedes-AMG S 63 Cabriolet gets the Brabus treatment

Presented at this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Brabus 850 6.0 bi-turbo Cabriolet is billed as the fastest and most powerful four-seater convertible in the world. 

The eight-cylinder is fed by a pair of Brabus-specific turbochargers, which makes 850bhp at 5,400rpm and a jaw-dropping 1,449Nm of torque between 2,500rpm to 4,500rpm. However, the high-performance tuner says that the engine's torque output is limited to 1,149Nm for the sake of longevity.

Power is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles and AMG's 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. The Bi-turbo Cabriolet has a 0-100km/h time of 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 349km/h.

Visually, Brabus has added a new front bumper with a splitter, trunk-mounted spoiler, carbon fibre air diffuser, and 21-inch forged tyres. Customers can choose to keep the stock interior, or to have it customised with add-ons such as illuminated sill plates and carbon fibre trim.
