Brabus has opted to give minor performance upgrades for all the engines in the E-Class Cabriolet’s range, as well as offering aerodynamic and interior enhancements. The base E250CDI BlueEfficiency gets a power increase from 201bhp to 232bhp, and 560Nm, due to the use of a BRABUS ECO Power Extra D4 power kit. The E350CDI BlueEfficiency tuned by Brabus now produces 268bhp and 590Nm.
For the petrol variants, the E250CGI BlueEfficiency Cabriolet now puts out 227bhp and 350Nm, while the V6 engine in the E350CGI now churns out an additional 18bhp from the standard version. At the top of the range, the E500’s 5.5-litre V8 engine, which has a standard output of 382bhp, has now been bored out to 6.1-litres in capacity, and now produces 456bhp and 615Nm of torque.
Brabus has also given the E-Class Cabriolet several aerodynamic modifications, which include a BRABUS front spoiler with integrated LED daytime running lights, front sport fenders with air openings, a rear valance with a centrally mounted reflector as well as a rear spoiler.
Other modifications include a suspension system that has been lowered by 30mm, and a new stainless-steel sport exhaust system with four tailpipes. Brabus also offers a choice of 17, 18 or 19-inch wheels, with 20-inch options to be available later.
The interior features a branded sports steering wheel and carbon fibre inserts on a number of parts, as well as being decorated with Brabus logos. Customers can also choose from a range of options to personalise their Brabus E-Class Cabriolet.
