Among the design highlights include the sweeping shoulder line, leading to the kink in the rear window. For safety reasons, a standard B-pillar has to be included, going against the tradition of pillar-less Mercedes-Benz coupes.
The redesigned interior has also been carried over from the sedan and estate variants, with the only obvious difference being the seating arrangements, with two individual seats in the rear instead of a three-seater bench. Engines are expected to be similar to the sedans as well, but a Black Series version is rumoured to be in the works, featuring a 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which churns out a massive 563bhp and 900Nm of torque.
