MG has launched the HS plug-in hybrid here in Singapore.
Up front, the SUV gets MG's stellar field grille, framing the largest MG logo yet, while at the rear, twin tailpipes and an aluminium lower bumper add a classy and sporty finish.

Under the bonnet lies a 160bhp 1.5-litre engine, paired to a 121bhp electric motor for a combined system output of 255bhp, making the plug-in hybrid the most powerful MG available here in Singapore.
Combined system peak torque meanwhile, stands at 370Nm. Those figures will see the MG HS plug-in hybrid sprinting to 100km/h from a standstill in just 7.5 seconds.
MG states the HS plug-in hybrid will be able to travel up to 52km purely on electric power, while stated fuel consumption is 55.5km/L based on the WLTP test cycle, if you keep the battery charged that is.

A 10.1-inch colour infotainment system centrally mounted on the dashboard will offer navigation as well as compatibility with both Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
Both the driver's and front passenger seats are electronically adjustable, while a panoramic sunroof and electric tailgate both come as standard for the MG HS plug-in hybrid.
