MG Motor has announced that in celebration of its centenary, it will be headlining the Central Feature display at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Alongside the company, the highly anticipated Cyberster EV roadster will headline Gerry Juda's annual sculptural masterpiece.
The Cyberster - which you might have caught in Singapore during the 2024 Singapore Motor Show - is a new generation performance car which marks a milestone in MG's history. It doesn't just hold the honour of being the first roadster to be produced by the brand in more than a decade, but will also be its first electric roadster ever when it enters production.
Prior to the start of the actual Festival, the Cyberster was brought out outside the Goodwood House alongside the 1064 Mk1 MGB Roadster, which is powered by a 1.8-litre BMC engine. The latter is said to be one of the Cyberster's most famous predecessors. Despite being from different eras, the two MG roadsters will play a predominant role at the 2024 iteration of the festival.
MG is due to return to the famous hill climb in 2024, with more debuts for the festival to be revealed closer to the date of the festival.
