MotoGP gets BMW XM Label Red as new safety car

BMW has announced that the XM Label Red will assist the 2024 season of MotoGP its official safety car.
The car was officially revealed at the conclusion of the 2023 season of the MotoGP season in Valencia by Dorna Sports CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta and CEO of BMW M Franciscus van Meel.
The BMW XM Label Red Safety Car comes equipped with additional elements needed for its duties including added flashing lights at the front, a safety car roof bar and a front splitter, while its cabin also sports Recaro seats, a six-point racing harness, and a fire extinguisher. It will sport the typical BMW M livery when it makes its first appearance come March 2024 at the opening round of the season on Qatar.
