New 2014 Jaguar XFR-S wags its blue tail

The 2014 XFR-S is equipped with a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 capable of 542bhp and 680Nm of torque. All that power allows the Jaguar to sprint to 100km/h in under 4.6 seconds via an eight-speed transmission before an electronically limited top speed of 300km/h. Just for comparison purposes, the E-Class AMG has 525bhp and 630Nm of torque while the BMW M5 - the benchmark for performance sedans - has 560bhp and 680Nm of torque. Figures aside, the Jaguar has a beasty engine note to accompany its blue rear spoiler.
