Volvo has confirmed that a new, all-electric EX30 crossover is set to join its growing lineup of all-electric options that already include the C40 and EX90, amongst others.
The car is set to make its global debut come 7:30pm Singapore time on 7 June 2023, following which, it will be made available for order or pre-order in selected markets.
Not much has been revealed of the car as yet, although a quick scour of the internet reveals that the new car is set to sit atop Geely's Sustainable Experience Architecture 2, which currently underpins cars such as the Smart #1 and Smart #3, the former utilising a 66kWh battery to power a 286bhp electric motor at the rear wheels. Those rear of the car depicted in the teaser image above, also clue in to the fact that it will retain the segmented taillight design we saw in the Volvo EX90.
Volvo states that it will reveal more of the EX30 prior to its debut.
