The Nissan X-Trail has been unveiled at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show.
As a segment leader and best-seller in China, the X-Trail is a key model in the Nissan NEXT transformation plan.

No details have been provided as yet about the car's drivetrain, although the U.S market equivalent Nissan Rogue gets a 2.5-litre in-line four-cylinder engine with Nissan's Direct Injection Gasoline system, rated at 179bhp.
The X-Trail also mirrors the design on the Rogue with distinctive Nissan design elements making an appearance. These include a floating roof and an evolved V-motion grille, as well as the SUV's unique head light shape.
The introduction video also states that the China-bound X-Trail will get the wide openinging rear doors of the Rogue. Capable of opening up to 90 degrees, they make it easier to get a child seat in or out, and also ease ingress and egress.
The NASA-inspired Zero Gravity low-fatigue spinal support seating will also make their appearance on China-bound X-Trails. The all new Nissan X-Trail will be launched in China in the second half of 2021.
