A new peak period feeder bus service has started operations on Monday morning. Called the 912P, the private-run feeder service will ply the same route as 912.
Operated by BT&Tan Transport and Commute Solutions, 912P will be deployed during morning and evening peak hours and will run 11 trips in each period. It is the first of four such services that will be launched in the following months as part of the Government's Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP). The others will serve residents in Ang Mo Kio, Bedok and Boon Lay.
The Land Transport Authority also added that 339 of the 550 new buses have started operating since last month. These buses are funded by the Government and will be used in 18 new routes to enhance 125 existing services.
