Nissan releases possible GT-R teaser ahead of New York Motor Show

Nissan has released a single, mysterious teaser image of a car that will be unveiled at the upcoming New York Motor Show. While no details of any sort have been released with the teaser image, the distinctive rear lights appear to be that of a Nissan GT-R. This would suggest a facelifted model, perhaps the final facelift before the next generation hybrid GT-R that is poised to be revealed in 2017.
This could mean visual changes as well as a bump in performance figures. The current car's 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 produces 542bhp in standard form, but is evidently capable of handling more - the GT-R Nismo produces 591bhp, for example.
Stay tuned as details emerge on Nissan's shadowy teaser.
