BMW M has launched a new variant of the BMW X6 M - limited to a minuscule number of just 100 cars. The M Design Edition boasts sporty and visually striking elements both inside and out. The upgraded interior comes with full Merino leather, including a bicolour instrument panel, BMW Individual interior trim, and an edition specific badge.
The BMW X6 M Design Edition stands out with its 21-inch M Performance light alloy wheels in double-spoke design and carbon elements. The exterior paintwork can be specified in Alpine White, Sapphire Black or Melbourne Red metallic. Those looking to add further motorsport inspiration can choose the optional M Performance decals with stripes in M colours.
The carefully targeted styling accents sharpens the profile of the X6 M as an unmistakeable cult figure in the premium all-wheel drive segment. The front end is defined by its black kidney grille and black exterior mirror caps. Aerodynamic fine tuning is underlined by carbon M Performance front splitter, rear spoiler and black rear diffuser.
The cabin is decked with Merino full leather with bicolour Black/Mugello Red instrument panel with Mugello Red contrast stitching. Red leather contrasts are also featured on the seats. The BMW Individual interior trim in Piano Black includes a model-specific '1/100' badge.
Additionally, a range of selected options are available as standard like, heated front seats, a storage package, Head-Up Display with additional M specific display and the HiFi Professional or BMW Individual premium audio system, among others.
As in the standard version, the limited edition is powered by a 4.4-litre, BMW M TwinPower Turbo equipped, eight-cylinder petrol engine developing 555bhp and peak torque of 680Nm - linked to a six-speed M Sport automatic transmission. All that power is transfered to the tarmac via the xDrive all-wheel drive system, whose special M specification raises the car's dynamic capability another notch.
