Opel is celebrating 20 years of offering seats with the AGR mark of approval.
The AGR is an independent German association promoting research related to back-pain prevention, and continues to give its approval to the seats in vehicles including the Opel Astra, Crossland and Grandland.
These AGR approved seats are said to offer a total of 10 adjustments from the driver, and six for the co-driver. Adjustable parameters for these seats include the sliding range, height, tilt, backrest tilt, thigh support, lumbar support and seat cushion tilt.
The performance seats in the firm's GSe lineup of performance cars also get the AGR mark of approval. Trimmed in black alcantara, the front seats in the Grandland GSe, Astra GSe and Astra Sports Tourer GSe feature especially high upper wings, while those in the Astra GSe also feature fully integrated head restraints. A stitched pattern at the base of the backrest and on the seat cushion, alongside an unmistakable yellow-on-black GSe logo on the seatback visually distinguishes these special seats.
