This Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse SE is wearing a bespoke Bianco and New Light Blue color scheme as a throwback to the Type 37A manufactured back in 1928, a car that managed to triumph in a considerable number of races during its prime.
The Bianco hue was used for the car’s upper body, including the air scoops and the roof area, while New Light Blue covers the side skirts, radiator grille frame, front spoiler and the rear apron with diffuser. The same hue was utilised for the underside of the rear spoiler and the inner surfaces of the wheel rims. Inside it has Cognac leather with new Light Blue inserts.
Power comes from the same massive W16 7.9-litre engine capable of outputting an impressive 1,184bhp and a peak torque of 1,500Nm, enough to allow the supercar a 0-100km/h sprint in 2.6 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 410km/h.
Bugatti has over the years displayed a fondness of turning up at carshows targeted at the affluent with their special editions. By "Special Editions", this usually means that Bugatti will spawn a model with a new colour combination. This has turned out to be true yet again, with the latest Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse coming in a special edition model at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
