Pininfarina has revealed the one-off Battista Targamerica, its first coach-built electric hypercar.
The car is set to make its premiere at Monterey Car Week, after it was commissioned by a renowned car collector and existing Battista owner at the 2023 iteration of the event. Pininfarina states that its design team worked intimately with this special client to inspire and create an extensive list of personalised touches that help Battista Targamerica stand out as a one-off design and technical statement.
The Iconica Blu pinstripes on the rear wing of the Battista Targamerica were painted by one of Pininfarina's artisans, and the car features a humidor located between its two seats
The Battista Targamerica is thus said to be a complete expression of its owner's personality and a reflection of his/her history, taste, interests, and life story.
One such unique element is the car's cigar holder and humidor. A completely customised element built directly into the cabin between the two seats, this element comes in a bespoke aluminium and glass case and can hold up to three cigars. It is also back-lit and illuminated with colours matching the car's five driving modes. For the curious, these are 'Calma', 'Pura', 'Energica', 'Furiosa', and 'Carattere', which correspond to Green, Iconica Blu, Orange, Red and Yellow respectively.
The Battista Targamerica features an exterior of silver Argento Liquido Gloss, detailed with Iconica Blu Gloss accents. Its body has also been re-engineered to better suit this one-off car's roofless profile. At the rear, its underwing is a hand-finished item, made by an artisan at Pininfarina. This wing features Iconica Blu pinstripes that stretch across its entire width.
The car is finished off with one-off ceramic-polished five-spoke alloy rims with contrast black anodised aluminium centre caps which are complemented by a brushed and anodised jewellery pack and bespoke one-off door plates.
