In collaboration with Warner Bros. Discover Global Consumer Products and Relevance International, Automobili Pininfarina has released a lineup of bespoke pure-electric vehicles, all of which are inspired by DC Comic's Bruce Wayne.
Bruce Wayne's on-screen persona inspired two new exclusive versions of both the B95 hyper Barchetta and the Battista hyper GT. The two specifications: 'Gotham' and 'Dark Knight', have been crafted to complement the luxurious lifestyle of Mr. Wayne.
Both the specifications of the cars will feature not only unique but previously unseen technical specifications. All four cars in this collection will be powered by a 120kWh lithium-ion battery and four motors, which deliver a total system power of 1,874bhp. With this amount of power, these cars are faster than a current Formula One car, going from zero to 100km/h in under two seconds.
Both models will also be fitted with Wayne Enterprise-inspired HMI display enhancements which feature an instruction voice inspired by Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne's fictional butler and assistant.
The Battista models offer entirely new performance-enhancing features including tailgate shark fins and louver openings in both the front and rear carbon fibre wings which improve aerodynamic efficiency. The exterior of the Battistas boasts Wayne Enterprises' logos on both its side skirts and roof, on top of a unique aluminium chassis and door plate. The roof and door design has also redesigned, and now features curved glass to lighten the interior ambience.
The Gotham design reflects the more gentle, civilian sophistication of Bruce Wayne. Both models of this specification are upholstered in a tan leather which includes bespoke quilting which can be seen on the centre panels along with tan stitching.
The Gotham Battista's bodywork is finished in Argento Vittorio gloss paint which complements its Nero Torino gloss paint Goccia roof. The marque's iconic 'F' logo is backlit and made of brushed and polished anodised aluminium, finishing off the look of the exterior. The vehicle is fitted with 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch alloy wheels at the rear, which are all finished in Prezioso Evoluzione gloss black and get a matt black channel rim.
The Gotham B95's wheels, meanwhile, are finished in a matt black inner and sport gloss black outer ring. The look is completed by Titan callipers and a brushed aluminium anodised black rim centre lock ring.
Contrasting the Gotham, the Dark Knight specification is said to be a reflection of Bruce Wayne's use of technology to maintain an edge in his fight against Gotham City's criminal underworld. Vehicles in the Dark Knight specification feature black Alcantara and black leather upholstery, finished off with a black and gold duo-tone contrast stitch.
The bodywork of both Gotham cars are finished in Nero Profondo gloss paint with Nero Torino 'Goccia' roof. Glorioso ceramic-polished rims complete the look.
This partnership will launch at BruceWayneX.com and is set to be followed by an invite-only retail theatre concept which is set to display the Pininfarina Battista.
