Pirelli unveils the Color Edition in Singapore - a tailor-made tyre offering a perfect fit for the most prestigious cars in the world.

During the past six years, the Pirelli tyre with colour marks on sidewall has contributed a lot to the thrilling racings and has become an important part of this splendid scenery. Now, Pirelli is honoured to bring the color from track to road, presenting to Singaporean media the latest achievements of its technologies: Pirelli's new color edition will be available by online pre-order from January 2018, providing local customers an opportunity to tailor products on an online channel for the first time.

As well as the basic colours (silver, yellow, white, and red), options are available in every other colour on request

As a long-term partner of the world's most premium and prestigious car manufacturers, Pirelli pays close attention to customers' demands and has always been a trendsetter in the industry. Based on Pirelli's continuous monitoring of consumer trends and deep market research, it shows that there is extra consumer demand for personalisation. Pirelli's engineers have therefore been inspired and gained experience from Formula One, where its colour tyres have been on the racecourse since 2011, refining its innovative tyre identification scheme.

P Zero is the first Pirelli product to have a colour edition. Thanks to Pirelli's stain proof technology and scratchproof performance, the tyre can maintain its colour brilliance and avoid fading caused by wear and tear. In the meantime, the sidewall compound is more flexible and crack-resistant, maintaining the original tyre performance. As an haute couture tyre, the colour edition also joins other cutting-edge technologies of Pirelli such as PNCS (a noise-cancelling system), Run Flat, and Seal Inside (technology which allows a tyre to repair itself in the event of a puncture).

The very first P Zero colour edition tyres range is from 19 to 21-inches, covering more than 30 different sizes. The colour edition can now fit models from Pagani, Lamborghini, McLaren, Ferrari, Porsche and Bentley, as well as top models from Mercedes AMG and Audi. They are also expected to be extended to even more premium models from the world's top manufacturers.

The online pre-order platform http://color.pirelli.com available for Singapore market from January 2018. Customers can choose the model and colour of their car via the booking system, and then try multiple matches with the bespoke colour edition.
