The recently concluded Korean Grand Prix might not have only displayed another example of Vettel's dominance over his rivals but also the supreme performance of Renault powered engines in the recent decade.
At the dance of the chequered flags, drivers of Renault-powered cars locked out the podium at the Korean Grand Prix, with Sebastian Vettel of Infiniti Red Bull Racing claiming victory for his usual lights to flag cruise, while Lotus F1 Team's Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean, took second and third respectively.
This is the third time the podium was filled with Renault-powered dominance this season after Bahrain and Germany - where the trio scored similar finishes.
The pole position by Vettel on Saturday took Renault's total Formula One pole positions to 208, equalling Scuderia Ferrari's record. Raikkonen had a standout race from ninth on the grid, overtaking Rosberg, Hamilton, Alonso, Hulkenberg and finally his team mate to score his second consecutive podium.
Remi Taffin, Renault Sport F1 head of track operations, said, "A great result for Renault overall, but individually very important results for our partner teams, Infiniti Red Bull Racing and Lotus F1 Team. We are really pleased and proud to contribute to their results. A triple podium at this stage in the season - and at this stage in the life of the V8 - is a great fillip for the team back at Viry, showing we are still as focused on results as ever. In addition, both Williams and Caterham had strong races and hopefully we can work together to end the season just as well."
Winning two subsequent constructors championships in 2005 and 2006 to end the reign of Ferrari and Schumacher, Renault powered Red Bull Racing team have won the constructors championships consecutively over the past three seasons - and with a massive 402 points in the constructors table in the current season - are miles ahead of their rivals to securing another this season.
