Polestar joins Tesla Supercharging network in North America

Polestar has announced that its customers across North America can now plug in to the 17,800-location strong Tesla Supercharger network.

Future Polestar cars in the region will adopt the North American Charging Standard (NACS) as standard equipment and current Polestar owners can now order an adapter at their local Polestar Service Centre to allow them to utilise the Supercharger network. Polestar's in-car Google Maps will also be updated to show all available NACS chargers.

The firm's Polestar Charge charging service already offers customers in Europe access to one of the region's largest charging networks, with over 850,000 charging points, including over 20,000 Tesla Superchargers, as well as the full Ionity, Recharge, Total, Fastned and Allego networks. Polestar customers in China also have seamless access to the Tesla Supercharger network across more than 200 cities.
