Porsche has revealed the interior of the new Panamera ahead of the car's full reveal, which is scheduled for 24 November 2023.
The new four-door grand tourer will get the Porsche Driver Experience control concept that was first introduced in the Taycan, and also recently introduced in the updated Cayenne.
This control concept will feature a digital, curved, and free-standing 12.6-inch instrument cluster, alongside a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. An optional 10.9-inch touchscreen will also be available for the front passenger.
The new Porsche Driver Experience control concept also places the switches for navigating the instrument cluster and selecting the driving mode on the steering wheel, reflecting the driver-oriented focus of the Panamera.
The gear selector lever in the Porsche Panamera is also now placed next to the steering wheel, opening up space on the centre console for a climate control panel. This new panel combines touch surfaces and physical switches which Porsche states, allows it to offer an elegant look combined with intuitive operation. Also new for this Panamera is the use of continuous ambient lighting across the entire dashboard, emphasising the breadth of the vehicle to all seated within.
For those seated at the rear, the new Porsche Panamera will also offer improved comfort, thanks to improved seat foam materials. The executive models of the Panamera will also get a newly contoured rear seat system, said to offer an optimised seating position so rear passengers will arrive at their destination even more relaxed after long drives.
And for those that would rather not have leather equipment in their vehicle, the interior of the new Panamera will also be offered with materials including Race-Tex and Pepita fabric.
