Porsche is introducing a new Turbonite-coloured crest, available exclusively for the Turbo variants of its models. Designed in anticipation of the 50-year anniversary of the first turbocharged 911 come 2024, the new Turbonite metallic Crest will allow its Turbo variants to better stand out from the other models in Porsche's range. This crest will be applied onto the front of the cars as well as on the steering wheel and exterior wheels.
This metallic grey tone will also be utilised on selected exterior components, including the lettering on the rear of the exterior, as well as the surrounds of the side mirrors. Selected model lines will also get the colour applied on the inlays in the front fascia, or the aeroblades of their light alloy wheels.
The colour will also be applied on selected components in the cabin including the trim strips and belt straps, as well as the driving mode switch and the air conditioning control panel. Selected models will also feature the colour as a contrasting seat stitching colour, on the door panel trim, instrument panel, or floor mats.
Porsche states that the new colour and crest will be introduced successively across its model lineup, with the first car set to get the new touch to be its updated Panamera, which is set to make its world debut come 24 November 2023.
