Racing Green becomes the most popular Aston Martin colour

Aston Martin has announced that its Racing Green has become the most popular colour choice amongst its customers.

The firm states that retail data show that 24% of its customers are selecting from the nine shades of green it offers, with Racing Green now the number one choice of the nine, ahead even of more traditional options including Xenon Grey and Magnetic Silver.

Aston Martin Racing Green was first introduced by the marque to celebrate its return to the pinnacle of motorsport in 2021. The firm attributes the colour's popularity to its use as the livery colour by its Formula One team, and states that demand for different shades of green has soared across its high-performance product portfolio. It additionally reveals that 72% of buyers of its Vantage F1 Edition models were new to the brand, and that its own market research indicates that 88% of luxury car buyers interested in Formula One are more likely to buy an Aston Martin because of its involvement in the sport.

The firm also offered customers the exciting opportunity to specify their dream car in a virtual Formula One pit garage in Silverstone as well as on the Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit in 2023.
