The facelifted Jaguar F-PACE SVR and Jaguar XF have arrived in Singapore.
Sitting at the top of the Jaguar performance SUV range, the F-PACE SVR has been updated with a more aggressive exterior as well as the latest connected technologies.
But of course, you're here for that 542bhp 5.0-litre supercharged V8. Well good news is, the engine has been massaged with this facelift to push out another 20Nm of torque, bringing the finally tally to 700Nm.
This means the F-PACE SVR is capable of completing the century sprint in just 4.0 seconds. Top speed meanwhile, is 286km/h.
All this power is sent to an eight-speed automatic and a new torque converter from the record-breaking Jaguar XE SV Project 8 sedan.
The separation between the different drive modes have also been increased. 'Dynamic' mode now gets a sharper throttle response, and stiffened suspension. Steering weighting and exhaust mapping has also been optimised. A new Dynamic Launch feature will also allow sharper acceleration from a standstill.
At the same time, the F-PACE SVR is also now more comfortable and enjoyable to drive at a relaxed pace. Revised tuning of the adaptive damping and new chassis bushes promise improved low-speed comfort.
The new power is matched by new aggressiveness on the outside.
Most notable is the revised front bumper and enlarged side vents for brake cooling. The head and taillights also have their LED signatures redesigned.
And in the cabin, there is a new 11.4-inch touchscreen housing Jaguar's Pivi Pro infotainment system. The steering wheel and gear selector here have also been redesigned. The 12.3-inch HD Interactive Driver Display also now sports a configurable display, with greater distinction between different drive modes.
Also new for Singapore is the facelifted Jaguar XF.
The luxury sedan gets a redesigned front, premium all-LED head lights with Jaguar's 'Double J' signatures and a new rear bumper. A body-coloured rear upper valance at the rear also helps to visually lower the car.
As with the F-PACE SVR, this Jaguar XF also gets a new drive selector, which features 'cricket ball' stitching.
New seats feature wider cushioning and new massage functions. The cockpit design has also been tweaked with an increased focus on the driver and a sporty new centre console. The 11.4-inch HD touchscreen here also houses the Pivi Pro infotainment system.
Active Road Noise Cancellation technology is also making a premiere in this Jaguar XF. The system constantly monitors vibrations from the road surface and calculates the opposite phase sound wave needed to remove the noise heard by the occupants. The system reduces noise levels within the cabin for superior refinement and reduced fatigue.
