Renault Sport teases Megane hatchback that is headed to the Green Hell
07 May 2014|3,838 views
Back in March, Seat dethroned Renault as the king of hot hatches after recording a 7:58.4 minute timing around the gruelling Nurburgring - which is around 10 seconds faster than the previous Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) record - set by the French marque in 2011 with a Megane RS Trophy.
Naturally, Renault is not taking the defeat well, and is hard at work preparing an all new performance hatch together with industrial partners including Akrapovic, Michelin, Ohlins and BRM. The marque is aiming for a sub-eight minute time on the track that will see the firm regaining its crown back from Seat.
