Renee Brinkerhoff raises awareness for child trafficking in Nairobi

Woman racer and philanthropist, Renee Brinkerhoff, leads the only female-driven team in the 2019 East African Safari Classic Rally, happening from 27 November to 6 December.

However, her family has already headed to Kenya with the Valkyrie Racing/Valkyrie Gives Group to seek more than just the completion of her fifth rally over six continents - they are meeting with two of Nairobi's rescue groups supporting victims of human trafficking with a goal to broaden awareness of trafficking and provide support to those that have been afflicted.

Since founding Valkyrie Racing in 2013, Brinkerhoff's mission has been to drive her vintage Porsche 356 on all seven continents and foster any media attention around her efforts to raise awareness of the major global issue of child trafficking. While currently in Kenya, she has taken the opportunity to meet with two distinct groups that assist women and children within Nairobi and its environs.

Brinkerhoff's cause-related efforts will continue well into 2020 through lobbying endeavours, her volunteerism within the investigative arena throughout Asia, as well as within speaking engagements and panel discussions.
