Rolls-Royce confirms development of new convertible model

Ultra-luxurious automaker Rolls-Royce, has confirmed the development of a new open top model, which would be built upon the success of its brethrens - the Phantom, Ghost and Wraith.

Rolls-Royce cited that the new convertible model would continue to boldly shape the future of the British marque with contemporary, graceful and sensuous styling when it reaches the market by mid-2016. The automaker believes the new model would offer an effortless open-top touring experience through the perfect marriage of modern Rolls-Royce luxury, style and elegance with an engaging and exhilarating driving experience.

The new car is currently undergoing a rigorous process of prototype testing as it enters its next stage of development.

We are currently developing an exciting and thoroughly contemporary interpretation of a pinnacle drophead tourer which will introduce even more discerning men and women to Rolls-Royce ownership."
