Rolls-Royce records highest sale in history

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced a record sales figure for 2011. The company sold 3,538 cars worldwide, a 31 per cent increase from 2010, and highest in the company’s 107 years history. The previous record was set in 1978 during the Silver Shadow II era, where 3,347 cars were sold.
2011 also marked a record for Rolls-Royce Bespoke Personalisation Program. Nearly all cars from the Phantom line-up left the factory with a customised part or trim.
Previously in September last year, the company has announced expansion plans for its production plant at Goodwood, scheduled to start next month. This will see to the growing demands for the ultra-luxury marque worldwide.
