The fourth round of the Singapore Karting Championship (SKC) concluded yesterday with Javier Chng (Cadet), Amin Noorzilan (Junior), Thaddeus Lee (Senior), Eric Ho (Master) and Anthony Seow (Veteran) claiming pole for their respective categories. Polish teen wonder Karol Basz beat everyone else for the top position on the podium for the AutoInc Marina Bay Karting Challenge.

"This is a very difficult track because of the sharp turns, but it was an amazing experience to be able to race under the lights. This was my first time racing in Singapore and I am ecstatic that I came in first despite the tough competition," said 20-year-old Basz.
The karters raced over a demanding 935-metre-long circuit, and the results of each race will be compiled to decide the overall winner of the championship. A delighted 12- year-old Javier Chng, who claimed pole in the Cadet category was filled with joy and aims to perform his best for the rest of the championship.
Thanks to a partnership between ViewQuest and YouTube, fans and spectators the world over were able to catch all the action live. This will follow on during the fifth round of the championships, in early December 2012 at the Marina Bay F1 Circuit.
"We are very excited to have put together such a successful run of Round four of the championship. However, the season is not over yet and we now look to an even more spectacular event at the final round of the season," says Singapore Karting Championship ambassador, Yuey Tan who is also the Singaporean race driver at the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia racing series.
