SBS Transit and SMRT extend train, bus services on eve of Labour Day

Train services and some bus services, will be extended next Tuesday (30 April), the eve of Labour Day, transport operators SBS Transit and SMRT said on Tuesday. The operational hours of the Downtown Line (DTL), North-East Line (NEL), and the Punggol and Sengkang LRT systems, run by SBS Transit, will be extended by 30 minutes next Tuesday.

In addition, some 21 bus services will also be extended, with the last buses departing later from their respective interchanges.

The last NEL trains departing Punggol and HarbourFront stations are scheduled for 12:02am and 12:30am on 1 May respectively. For DTL users, the last trains depart Bukit Panjang and Expo stations at 12:03am and 12:04am respectively. More information can be found on SBS Transit's website.

For the North-South Line and East-West Line run by SMRT, the last trains departing from City Hall station for both lines in both directions are scheduled for 12:30am.

For the Circle Line, also operated by SMRT, the last train will depart from HarbourFront at 11:30pm. At the line's other end, the last train will leave Dhoby Ghaut station at 11:55pm. 14 SMRT bus services will also depart later than usual from various bus interchanges.
