School bus hits and kill Grandma

In a tragic accident which took place yesterday, a school bus hit a woman with her six-year old grandson, killing the elderly. The accident happened at Jalan Bahar towards the direction of Lim Chu Kang Road, after the intersection of Jurong West Avenue 4.
The police were notified of the accident at around 11.25am. Eye witnesses said the school bus was turning out from a carpark when the accident happened. The old lady was hit, and pinned down by the right front wheel of the bus. Paramedics from the Singapore Civil Defence Force said the woman, in her 60s, had a cardiac arrest at the scene of accident, and was taken to the hospital unconscious. She later died of her injuries at the hospital.
The elderly's six-year old grandson suffered a fractured right leg from the accident.
The driver of the school bus has been identified as a 30-year old female. She has been arrested for causing death by a rash act.
