2017 marks the 70th anniversary of Ferrari - a legend built on decades of sporting successes and the inimitable style of their cars, a source of inspiration for millions of enthusiasts around the world. On this special occasion, countries from Asia have joined their European counterparts - Spain, Denmark, and the U.K. - to celebrate this special anniversary with exhibitions, races and large gatherings of passionate Ferraristi.
In Singapore, there is one event that both owners and fans can look forward to - the Ferrari 70th Anniversary Parade on Sunday, 20th August. Possibly the largest parade in Singapore, over 100 Ferraris will cover scenic spots across the island like Marina Bay Sands and Changi Airport to the heartlands of Holland Road. Fans that would like to flag off the convoy can gather at the F1 Pit Building from 2:00pm to await the flag off at 3:00pm. To capture the best of the parade, the most ideal vantage point will be the stretch of Orchard Road until Raffles City.
After the 70km drive, the cars will gather at the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach and continue to be open for public viewing from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Fans and photographers should be keeping their eyes peeled for the LaFerrari Aperta - the limited edition special spider version of the acclaimed LaFerrari supercar - leading the way. Other noted cars in the parade include the F308, F365, F430, Testarossa, 458 Speciale A, F12tdf and the tailor-made SG50 F12berlinetta.
