Motor sports fans take note: The Singapore Touring Car Challenge (STCC) is back. 10 years since the last race, Motor Sports Singapore (MSS) has announced the 2025 edition of STCC, which will take place from 13 to 15 March at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
STCC 2025 will feature two classes: Touring Class, open to naturally aspirated production cars with engine capacities 2,000cc and below produced from 2007 to 2025, and Production Class, for naturally aspirated production cars with engine capacities 1,600cc and below produced from 2007 to 2025.
Expect circuit faithfuls on the grid like the Honda Civic Type-R, Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ, as well as pocket rockets like the Honda Jazz and Suzuki Swift.
The STCC aims to increase the visibility of nationally-sanctioned circuit racing and foster a developmental pathway for aspiring racing drivers in Singapore. By participating in this event, competitors gain invaluable experience that could serve as a stepping stone for competitors aspiring to progress into higher levels of motorsport, with the ultimate goal of reaching premier endurance racing events like the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
