Skoda and Parkopedia updates in-car payment service

Skoda and Parkopedia have updated their in-car payment service, which will now include helpful prompts to inform drivers when approaching locations supporting in-car payment transactions.

This feature is possible thanks to Parkopedia's extensive parking data, with the quality and accuracy of location data fundamental to enabling successful in-car transactions, and will be launched with fuel-powered Skoda models produced from Q2 2024 and the upcoming Skoda Elroq at launch. The Enyaq and additional EV models will gain this feature in 2025.

In Parkopedia's latest survey, it was highlighted that parking is the most requested in-car payment service for drivers, and this feature enhances the driving experience by bypassing additional issues such as out-of-order machines and card payment issues.
