Skoda Auto hits a 200,000 production milestone for the Enyaq

Skoda Auto has marked a milestone in its e-mobility strategy with the production of 200,000 units of the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe models. The jubilee car is a white Enyaq Coupe Sportline. 

The Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe make up a quarter of electric vehicle market share in the Czech Republic. This makes it the most popular electric series in the brand's domestic market. 

There are significant improvements to the 2024 model year. The Enyaq 85, 85x and RS models will have a more powerful and efficient electric motor on the rear axle. Beyond this, they will also consist of a more intuitive user interface with the help of a new software version. The charging times for the cars' batteries will also be reduced to under 30 minutes for 10 to 80%. 

A sum of approximately $8.1 billion (€5.6 billion) has been dedicated to enhancing Skoda Auto's e-mobility strategy by 2027. Beyond the release of the Elroq, an all electric SUV, later this year, it is said that there are plans to release six new all electric models in the coming years. This would complete Skoda's fully electric line-up.
