Skoda Elroq appears at the final stage of the Tour de France

As the 111^th edition of the Tour de France draws to a close, Skoda has prepped one little surprise for us.

A camouflaged example of the firm's latest all-electric model, the Skoda Elroq, joined the cycling event's final stage time trial to accompany the riders. Set to be unveiled in the third quarter of 2024, the new crossover will be the firm’s first vehicle to adopt its new Modern Solid design language.

This 2024 iteration of the cycling event continued to see Skoda presenting the crystal glass trophy (designed by Skoda Design) to the overall winner, Tadej Pogacar, while Skoda Auto CEO Klaus Zellmer presented a green crystal trophy to Biniam Girmay, the points classification winner.

Skoda has been supporting the Tour as the official main partner and car supplier since 2004. The firm is additionally a partner of 20 top cycling events.
