Skoda Karoq gets more confident look with latest update

Skoda has revealed the refreshed Karoq SUV.
At the front, the new Skoda Karoq sports a more confident and rugged stance thanks to a wider, hexagonal Skoda grille and a new front apron.
The head lights for the Karoq are also now slimmer than before. Two LED modules arranged one above the other combine with the split daytime running lights to give the car a distinct four-light signature.
At the rear, the car gets a new rear apron finished in body colour below the loading sill while a robust black plastic rear diffuser bears a striking sculptured shape. Higher trim models will also get a longer rear spoiler finished in the body colour.
The cabin of the new Skoda Karoq also sees plenty of changes.
For the environmentally conscious, there's now an Eco pack available, which finishes the seat covers with vegan, leather-like materials, while the armrests are upholstered in Suedia microsuede exclusively in Mocha Brown.
Nisha decorative trim is also offered on the doors, complementing the enhanced LED ambient lighting, which now illuminates the front as well as the rear door panels in one of ten colour options and the footwell in white.
Higher trim levels for the Skoda Karoq will also be offered with optional electronically adjusting memory seats for the front passenger. Electrically adjustable lumbar support will also be available as an option.
Entertainment for passengers will come courtesy of either the Volkswagen Amundsen system, housed within an 8.0-inch screen, or the range-topping Columbus system, which displays its information on a 9.2-inch screen and comes with the ability to receive over-the-air software updates.
An 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster comes as standard although higher trim Karoqs will come with a 10.25-inch digital item.
Three petrol engines are being offered for the Skoda Karoq at launch. There's a 1.0-litre three-cylinder with 109bhp, a 1.5-litre four-cylinder with 148bhp, and a 2.0-litre four-cylinder with 188bhp. The 2.0-litre engine is only available as a SportLine variant, which gets a gloss black Skoda grille, window frames and roof rails. Full‑LED Matrix head lights are also standard for this variant.
